Everyone is talking about the refugee issue, but few are the ones who substantially examine the terrorist incidents.
Each time they assume that the particular case constitutes an exception within a classical world, where peace is supposed to prevail.
However, this simplistic approach has its limitations, as they finally discover, at least some of them did, that the Daesh terrorist organization uses and exploits energean sources such as oil, in order to sustain its unacceptable mechanism.
Because quite simply it capitalises on the energean dependence factor, in order to promote its interests, as is the case with the countries which support it financially.
The refugee issue emerges within this context, but no longer as an independent phenomenon, but as a consequence of this inhumane activity which constitutes a crime against Humanity.
It is therefore important to actually comprehend at least within the European Union, if it can’t occur at a local level due to dogmatism, that the utilisation of the Mediterranean EEZ, and especially in the eastern Mediterranean is not an issue merely regarding the financial sector as most assume.
The emergence of enormous reserves which are located within the European context, such as the Cypriot EEZ , that of Greece, as well as the Italian one, is a practical way to obtain an energean “embankment” against the expansionistic aspirations of the terrorist organization.
And even though this is not yet understood within our homeland, contrary to our neighbouring countries which have, and according to their positions they are considering their prospects.
