All those who were saying, that the establishment of the Cypriot EEZ, the demarcations, the agreements with consortiums etc., was of no importantance, they are now obliged to agree upon the influence of this approach in regards to solving the Cypriot issue as well.
The reactions coming from the occupied territories are not only indicative but also evidencial.
As much as they want to reduce the range of the energean strategy of Cyprus, they must admit that the issue of the agreements regarding the natural gas, annoys those who outrightly violate the human rights.
Additionally, no one could seriously blame Cyprus, since from the very beginning it has explained that Cyprus’s revenues with each agreement taking place, will be always for the benefit of all the legal residents of Cyprus.
It makes therefore no exceptions within her population.
And in this sense, the natural gas constitutes an instrument of liberation for the entire Cyprus, and not merely a part of it.
The problem lies with the Occupied territories, because they need to explain that the settlers also gain benefits from the Black Sea, whereas the Turkish Cypriots have no rights upon them, as in actual fact those benefits belong to another country.
Consequently, they must be more careful in their statements at the Occupied territories, because the boomerang phenomenon will not fail to hit them, coming from where they don’t expect it.
Meanwhile, let’s move dynamically with the utilization of the Cypriot EEZ, and especially with the licensing of the three new marine plots, because strategically they are very important in regards to future developments.
