“Unfortunately, the Turkish position regarding the crisis that was created by “Barbaros” in the Cyprus EEZ remains unacceptable, because it aims not only to the joint management of the hydrocarbons in the south EEZ of Cyprus, but also at the abolishing of the legal entity of the Democracy of Cyprus”. That was the stated by Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides, after his meeting with Evangelos Venizelos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, which took place on the margins of the Council, in Brussels.
Kasoulides and Venizelos discussed the Cyprus issue and the Greek – Turkish relations, in light of the recent Greek – Turkish meetings that took place in Athens and Salonica.
