The termination of the non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Australian Woodside Petroleum regarding the sale of interest in the Leviathan licenses, is not expected to impact exploration and development activities in Block 12, Noble Energy stated to CNA.
According to an announcement, released after a question raised by CNA, Noble Energy announced that the parties of the non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) regarding the sale of interest in the Leviathan licenses, offshore Israel to Woodside Petroleum, have agreed to terminate the MOU.
“This decision is not expected to impact our exploration and development activities offshore Cyprus, where we have confirmed a high-quality discovery with estimated gross mean resources of 5 Tcf@, it is sated.
