Cyprus` inalienable rights in its Exclusive Economic Zone must not be infringed by other states, Austrian Ambassador in Nicosia, Dr Karl Mueller, has told CNA, adding that Cyprus has a great potential and future role in this domain for Europe.
In an interview with the Cyprus News Agency, Dr Mueller said that Austria “fully supports the inalienable rights of Cyprus to exploit its own resources within its Exclusive Economic Zone,” stressing that “these rights must and should in no way be infringed by other states or parties.”
Cyprus, the Ambassador told CNA, has a huge potential as an energy hub but also as a transit location for energy and has a great potential and future role in this domain for Europe.
