NICOSIA – Negotiations for Block 9 in Cyprus hydrocarbon zone collapsed Wednesday with French firm Total and Russian company Novatech.
The government ended the talks when the companies refused to upgrade their offers.
Talks for Block 9 will now go ahead with the next bidder in line Enicogas, a Korean firm.
Talks will continue with Total regarding Block 10
